Today it’s 50 years since the release of the first James Bond film, Dr. No. Since 5 October 1962 we have lived with this fascinating film character in several films.
One aspect of the James Bond films that has always fascinated me is the film music. Especially fascinating for me has been the title song in the beginning of the films. The title songs have always been sung by more or less famous artists at the time, and until recent years the title songs have very often been some female singer singing a slow, old fashion pop song with some sort of climaxing over the top ending.
Pavarotti of course didn’t sing any James Bond title song, but wouldn’t it be great if he did? So, if he did, which James Bond title song would have been absolutely perfect for Pavarotti?
My first choice would of course be Goldfinger, followed by You Only Live Twice as second choice, and Licence to Kill as third choice! That would have been so cool! 🙂
So, what do you think? Which James Bond title song would have been absolutely perfect for Pavarotti in your opinion? Look at the list of title songs and post a comment to this blog post!

And just imagine what kind of agent Pavarotti would have been! 🙂
